There are luminous objects composed of horizontally stacked transparent acrylic panels that glow at the
edges from LED lights in the middle. The objects are shaped like bubbles. Because of this spare ephemerality,
the soap bubble is a metaphor for something that is indeed attractive, but short-lived, as reflected in the
phrase »the dream burst like a bubble«.
In art, the bubble is considered a symbol of Vanitas and stands for both the beauty and the transience of
human life.
